Cranes : Heavy Construction Equipments in Singapore

 

A crane is a type of heavy equipment that is use in different industries such as construction, engineering and for industrial. It is equipped with wire ropes, hoist or chains and sheaves. Floating Crane

-          These cranes are usually used on building bridges and constructions of ports. These cranes are also used on lifting salvage sunken ships under water and can lift with the capacity of 10,000 tons.

Railroad Crane

 -these cranes have flanged wheels that are equipped for railroads use. This is just a simple crane machine on a railroad vehicle.

Tower Crane

-This crane is being fixed into the ground and usually use on construction of tall buildings as it has the best combination of lifting capacity and its height.

Aerial Crane

-          Is commonly called as sky cranes as they are helicopter designed to lift heavy materials for shopping centers and high-rises place.

Self Erecting Crane

-          Often called as kangaroo cranes. These cranes are tower type crane which are being lifted with the use of jacks. They can grow as tall as building as it erects.
